MV6 40m Upgrade Kit
40m Extension Kit for MV6
Max Input Power: 1500W SSB
Parts weight: 0.75 kg.
Packaged weight: 1.9 kg.
The MV6 Antenna Upgrade Kit allows you to add the 40m band (7MHz) thanks to the capacitive cap coil, plus a vertical stylus section, which makes the central stylus Dual Band (40+20m). In addition, the “DBFC” wire counterpoise, which stands for Dual Band Folded Counterpoise, (patent pending) to be installed on existing radials, makes the 40m band resonant and adapted.
The kit comes with everything you need for quick and easy installation, following the instructions provided in the enclosed manual.
This upgrade kit makes your MV6 fully equivalent to the new MV7, which already incorporates the 40m band. For further technical details, please refer to the MV7 antenna page.
